1. Memory's Boot Camp: ehhh. I can't say that I've done a very good job working out over the last couple of months. But I have been eating healthy and feeling better (except for the bowl of ice cream sitting in my lap...oops!)!
2. House Projects: so far no good. I do have lots of plans in my head though! I haven't actually done anything on my list but I think we're getting closer to checking a few off.
3. Money: I haven't really figured out the whole couponing thing yet. I'm still working on it and I think we're about to start the Dave Ramsey's cash system for our food. We'll see how that works out.
4. Blog: obviously I'm off to a slow start. I'll keep working on that.
5: Thank You Notes: Woohoo! Finally something I accomplished!!! It has been a great relief to have these done and not hanging over my head.
So...since I haven't been doing very many of the above mentioned things...what have we been up to??
In February we went down to Charleston to hang out with Richard's family and I helped with a baby shower for my sweet friend Lucy! She is due very soon with a sweet baby boy. I had a great time catching up with the girls and hanging out in Charleston.
We had the shower at The Cru Cafe in downtown Charleston. It was such a great place...the food was delicious, the room was really sweet and the staff was great!
The cake matched the invitations...so cute!
Sweet baby clothes
Furman Girls!!
Last weekend I had such a fun weekend with some of my best friends from Furman. Alli and Tara came in to town to hang out with me and Sarah. We took a little trip down memory lane (haha) and took a walk through Furman. We went in to the new classroom buildings, the library, etc. We reminisced about the great 4 years we had and many of the funny things that happened while we were there. We got to spend the day/night hanging out, catching up and enjoying spending time together. It has been too long since we were all together!
Tara, Sarah, Me and Alli
We all lived in building J our senior year. I wish we could all live so close now!
Alli and I lived in J104. I really wanted to go in and see it but we decided that wouldn't be good.
This is the 9/11 memorial that our class gave to the school as our senior gift. 9/11 was our first day of class as Freshmen.
I spent lots of time in John E. Johns Hall.
Such a pretty campus!!
Go Paladins!
Yesterday sweet Richard had sinus surgery. He is doing great! Here are a few before and after shots...
Before...
After
He was pretty funny in the recovery room while he was still on drugs. I tried to get a video but it wasn't as funny. He kept asking me if he was "good" in surgery and if he was Dr. Brown's favorite patient...haha! He is recovering well and we are watching a marathon of Law & Order while he rests. I've been super productive today...if only I had this much time to get things done in a regular week!
So...that's what we've been up to! I'll try again to be better about updating...then maybe I won't have such a long post! Maybe by next time I'll have more success with my 2012 "plans".
Happy March!!
