Finding time to do this blogging thing is harder than I thought! I'm working on it though. Just to recap...Christmas was a whirlwind but lots of fun and full of family (managed to not take a single pic...oops)! New Years was low-key...so much so that I barely opened my eyes to see the ball drop. And here we are into almost the middle of January! (94 days till we get married for those who are counting!!)
The word of the week this week is SNOW!! On Sunday night/Monday we got about 8 inches of snow that then turned to ice and has made for an interesting week. Unfortunately the hospital doesn't close for snow so Richard and I have both been working all week. This is about the 5th time this month that I have wondered why I didn't become a school teacher so I could hang out all day with my school-teacher roommate. I did get to play in the snow for a little bit when I got home from work on Monday. Here are a few of our favorite pics...

So that's how we enjoyed our snow. Now it's just ice causing me problems getting to work. But it sure is beautiful still!! Now I must go to bed and prepare for work tomorrow while the rest of the city still enjoys the joy of sleeping in and hanging out tomorrow (good thing I like those kids I work with!!).
